Rithu (Seasons)
Last night watched this Malayalam movie in TV. Rithu (Malayalam word for Seasons). After a long time I’m watching a new Malayalam movie which was normal in all aspects. No action scenes, unnecessary songs or specifically items songs or crap things like tat. The theme is about friendship, which is not new , but the story line is little different in the way the message is conveyed. Good songs created a nostalgic effect.

The movie depicted the changing socio condition among the guys in Kerala. How deep the friendship circles are growing. But core being how the gaps develop between the friends and how you easily miss the rapport between friends.
Heartfelt as that is what I miss now.I missed my friend circle due to the pre-conception that its going to fade when we are out of college. It was something which drove me till now, but feels bad now that even i catalysed for that could have been prevented situation.
Don’t know whether a refresh will happen or not. Hope i can freely enter into the circle now and recall everyone who are out of the circle. My current location may be against my new idea, but will try my best.
My New Year Resolution : Refresh my old and new friendship circles. Hope other will co-operate
Counting my days
Its not about end of life. Its about a deal. Can’t disclose more about this now but will be detailing more about it after the date. Hope something positive comes up. I got choices now. Two in actual and one more in virtual. Ok this is bcoming some alien language now, but cudnt resist telling this in more or less in hidden words.
Attention Please…I’m here
This is one of the ways you make your point. But just wanna quote that there are different other normal and better ways to make your point. Before I jump to narrate my better point, let me explain this Subject headline.
“Attention Please…I’m here”
Consider a weak person, who hasn’t made any impact on his society or to his fellow colleagues, want to make his point or wanna grab the attention of others around him and pathetically for getting a chance. The worst and the short cut way for him to serve his purpose is just shout or crib others or boot lick others.
My point here is , I’m not the person whom i have described above and I would like to convey to my friends, near and dear, that please don’t persuade me to become like that for getting any mean opportunity.
If you consider or have the concern that I’m losing something just because of the fact that I’m not raising my voice for getting my opportunity, especially to those who don’t have the consideration for what I’m is, just have this reply to you that “I’m not a loser and this is not the end of life”. If I’m not recognized or given opportunity, I just have the same feeling for them, that they are not the one who is going to change my life.
Don’t want to mention the names, but it would be appropriate if I could just mention them here, those who are living for achieving their for their own benefits by keeping a Artificial smile and same all good words of fake appreciations thrown at their subordinates when they think that it’s time to feed the birds. I realized this very late and I don’t have the regrets that I also fell on their clutches at least for once.
But I have made up my mind that I’m not going to anyone and beg on anything, giving due respect to those words passed on to me by fellow well wishers. At last it’s not the end of your life or beginning of anything. It’s just an opportunity that I am eligible for. If everyone would have waited for an opportunity in his life, there wouldn’t be any great persons who touches common man’s life.

Atlast i got my favorite laptop – HP TX2 Touchsmart with multitouch capabilities. Thanks to my cousin sister who bought it from US.
This is actually a cool laptop with touchscreen.its easy to navigate for me, without a need for any additional mouse (touchpad is there). You have to tap,click,pinch,rotate on your screen to get the full touch experience.And i really liked the screensize (12.1″) which is the latest trend like the netbook. I’m lost
Never felt before like this. I feel like my life is going nowhere. And this is for the first time I’m getting impacted by a global crisis. Added to that my profession helps to make my condition worse everyday. Its a mechanical day for me, not just today, but its the same for the past 2 weeks.
I really don’t know where I’m heading towards. Hopes that miracles happen and good time will come followed by these bad days. Till then going to the state of self distraction. Yes trying to get rid of these thoughts what I’m expressing here and as a first step I’m going for a pilgrimage. I booked the tickets for my parents also, so that i can meet them for a while. Even they are feeling lonely these days. All their kids are away from them.
Can’t understand it completely, but my mom was telling this to me yesterday that its 10 years that my elder bro started living away from them. He went for engineering studies and from that day onwards very few months he was there in the home. Nowadays very few visits. All are busy, added to that he is far away now when compared to the place where he studied his engineering.
Yesterday I thought of going home. May be strange, but true to my heart, I felt this because of two reasons:
1. What I’m going to do this weekend?
2. I felt bad after checking the Lunch menu in the food court. The same old dishes and i was feeling damn hungry. But my thoughts went to home, were i could get good food at any time i need. Also I have the option for having any dish rather than just picking any from the repetitive dishes of Food court.
I checked for the train tickets and it was in waiting list, can’t even have a slight hope of getting any seat. That idea got cancelled then and there itself. Again the bad time is patting on my back very badly. Now planning to go for a long vacation. Let me see this time my vice profession won’t give me any more surprises from the box and won’t make me hold back by showing glittering gold.
SlumDog or SlumMillionaire
Yesterday evening i saw the movie “SlumDog millionaire” and to tell as an intro this is not a review of the movie and i just want to tell to my friend sorry that I’m not a good person to give movie reviews, may be i can excel in code reviews 
. He asked during the interval of the movie ( even though there is no interval in the original print, the projectionist added a Interval slide in between) howz the movie and actually he used the word what is your review about the movie, as if I’m Rajeev masand whose opinion is considered by most of the people before they go to cinema theatres.
Oh, I should tell this, my favourite scene in the movie was when the Memmon(who sends the kids for begging in the mumbai streets.I don’t know whether im spelling the correct name here) asks jamal (childhood of the hero) to sing the song “Darshan do” after giving him the inspiration to become professional. Kid start singing the song and when he completes the two words, he asks Memmon to give 50Rs and give him the reason that he is a professional. The best scene in the movie and involuntarily i started clapping along with others.
The scene where jamal guides the tourists in taj mahal and gives some funny explanations is too good. Over all the movie is enjoyable and it truly depicts the condition of the mumbai city. i didn’t enjoy that much, the scenes where jamal goes in search of his childhood friend latika and where Salims kills Memon using a revolver. This is not something common in India where kids, especially kids in slums get a Revolver. That was something exaggerated i should say and may be the director/script writer(Indian) used his western culture to create that particular incident.
And as somebody told its not an extraordinary movie, its a typical bollywood movie. I agree to that, but it just got this fame because this is not a bollywood , but its an international movie, created by international crew. So no wonder it got this much fame. But i should appreciate the effort the crew especially the camera man, when he creates that perfect shots, by showing the kids travelling by sitting on the shock absorber where the compartments of the train is connected. Were the shots in which slums are shown in an aerial view, perfectly showing the beautiful tajmahal through the camera. What made this movie different from the normal bollywood movie from my point of view is
1. There is no Item no: , that u can see atleast one per movie in most of the bollywood movies.
2.Exceptional camera work and showing those parts of mumbai cities life.
3. And for a bollywood movie to show the same story will take a minimum of 3 hrs where Danny managed it to make 2 hours and that too not missing core theme of the movie. Its pretty much covered in this short span.
I would recommend go and watch the movie at least once in the cinemas or else you are going to miss the background score of A.R.Rahman which is too good in the first scenes where the cops chase the kids. Also the title song of the movie is catchy.
Just wants to qoute these notes here, which i prefer while watching a movie in Theatre.
1. I don’t encourage comments while watching the movie, especially while the movie is going on. Please don’t ask me review or opinion. i came to enjoy, not for analysis.
2. I prefer to watch the movie from the starting, right from where the certificate of the movie is shown.
3.I don’t want to miss any dialogues in the movie, which most of the time I misses when some near me ask me about the last dialogue. Most annoying.
4. Mobile phone ringing and their flashlights.
You are there for enjoying the movie and most of the time you are watching the movie for the first time in the cinema. So enjoy to the full extend.

I think this one is the correct dictionary meaning if raj travels is added in Oxford Dictionary or at least any local dictionary. The first and last time travel in Raj travels, which gave a whole new experience in my travel history. Starting from the Online booking till when I got down from the bus. As mentioned in my previous blog, i here by dedicate this blog to Raj travels.
My friend gave me this idea of travelling in Raj travels from bangalore to mumbai as its a night journey and when compared to the train journey which takes more than 22hrs and that too day journey,travel in bus is good. So i booked the ticket from Bangalore to Chembur as i was asked by the travels customer care to book till chembur which is one of their boarding point and its easy to goto thane from there. So I used their Online Booking option. The website was looking good and itinerary was from Bangalore to Pune and then Pune to Mumbai. I booked the ticket to and fro and i got the seat somewhere on the middle window seat(5A), except for the journey to Mumbai, which was on the back(8A)
To my surprise when paid 2500Rs and found the travel itinerary, all the seats where shown as the same seat i got for Bangalore to Mumbai(8A). I didnt care about that as i thought their records will show the correct one and i’ll get the seat that i booked.
The bus started from Bangalore at correct time at 4:30PM and the bus was not that good as shown in the website. It was not maintained properly also. I expected at least a small water bottle , but my expectations were exceeded when they gave single blanket for both the passengers sitting together. No water,not even proper service. On the way i managed to buy one bottle of water when i had dinner. Only one good service that they provided to the guys at least was at around 10Pm they stopped somewhere on the way and almost all the guys got down to go for a pee. Wow my good time on the travel. It was so funny that every guy was showing their back to the passengers in the bus and hearing to the nature’s call.Even i was their among the crowd who were hearing to the call. For a moment i thought of the difficulty the ladies might have experienced in a long journey like this in such a crap bus.The AC in the bus was ok, not that good but.
Luckily the other guy sitting near me had a Jacket and i was able to use the blanket most of the time at night. The bus was supposed to reach Mumbai around 9 or 9.30 but reached late. I was supposed to get down at chembur and after i passed Pune i called my bro to give him my status. Once again Raj travels showed their good service by telling me that, they can’t go to Diamond garden, chembur where my bro was waiting with uncle and they told they will stop near some bridge. I called my bro and gave the phone to cleaner so that he could tell my bro the exact place he have to pick me. Everything went well and they dropped me somewhere.
Again to my surprise, oh, how many surprises that Raj travels give you in the journey, just like the reward points that earn using ur credit card, they dropped me somewhere else from the place which they communicated to my bro and that too more than 1 hr late. Good time management, it was ok with me when compared to travel in train. At last i had to go to the place where my brother was waiting by taking an auto as i couldn’t help him find my location. Need of GPS 
Return trip: The amazing one, when i took the decision, that even if Raj travel sponsor me a trip free to Switzerland i’m not going to use their service. Me and my bro was waiting for the bus at andheri, don’t remember the exact name of the place, but i remember it was near to Bal thackeray’s house(Shiv Sena leader). The arrival time of the bus was around 2.30Pm and it came after 3Pm. Fine fine, KC you need to suffer all these, because you paid for it.Ah ha, again a surprise before the bus took; My seat(5A) is occupied by a fair girl and when i asked she showed me her ticket. Multiple booking for the same seat. Internet, Online booking and I hate myself when considering me as a Software engineer who creates these kind of bugs in the application and defying the customers by giving a good look to the page. Ok let me check the seat (8A) which shown in the ticket. Great there was sitting a married lady with her kid. Kid was sitting in my seat. This happened for other passengers also who boarded from the same place.Next target, kick the **s of cleaner. He was a such dump that he was blaming the travel booking agencies and travels itself. Great act of escape!!!
Man now were will i sit, cleaner seat or the luggage area of the bus? Some body e lse of the travel agency managed to find a free space in the bus for me which was an aisle seat. Man you are going to travel in that seat till bangalore sitting in the aisle, looking at who all are getting down and who all are boarding the bus. Cool good entertainment. No words now. Anyhow i got a seat and I told bye to my bro. The bus left it was already more than 1 hr late.
We reached Pune around 7-8Pm. Funny thing happened then. One guy who was sitting two to three seats behind me came to me and told that it was his place. Cool.. What can i tell now other than the whole drama that he saw. So he was also was asked to adjust somewhere in the Bus. After 2 to 3 stops in pune i got a window seat and shifted their on the belief that i can tell some story to the owner of that seat, if he is boarding somewhere. But till i reached bangalore no one came and asked for that seat. This time i got a separate blanket. Good it’s correct that Mumbai is richest city than Bangalore. They managed to get separate blankets now.
The proposed time of arrival at bangalore was around 8.30Am, but; no im not going to repeat that word here again, i reached there at 11.30Am. Oh man how will i reach office and work, because I have to take another bus to Mysore now from Bangalore. I took another Volvo from Bangalore to Mysore and i reached my home at 3.30PM. After that i managed to goto office at 5.00Pm and worked till late night.

Now im thinking whether it would have taken this much time if board a flight to Newyork from Mumbai or a train from Mumbai to Mysore. No, Only Raj travels can offer you a Happy and Safe journey like which i felt,travelling all the east-west-north-south places of India in a 24hr + travel. Isn’t it cool.
I really would love to give a star rating for Raj travels out of 5, but none of the stars are turning up when they hear the word Raj Travels. I’ll give eggs instead of stars then. One Egg for Raj travels. Happy journey!!!
Good Monday
Its on last Monday (12-Jan- 2009 ), I was waiting for bus to office at around 9Am. I didn’t get any bus to office after for more than 10 mins. Then my friend and his room mate came and was planning to go by auto. I asked them to wait for 5 more mins. Meanwhile one bus stopped at the bus stop which was not ours and i didn’t notice the passenger’s who were getting down from the bus. After some 15-20 sec i saw this man standing in the bus stand and had some problem. He was blind and he had his stick with him. Then my friend called me to go by auto. I told my friend to wait and went to this guy. I asked him where he wanted to go and he told me that he wanted to got postal office, which was there opposite to this bus stand. I helped him in crossing and while we were crossing the road he was asking me in Hindi, whether i had my breakfast. I told him that I’ll have it at office and I asked him back about his breakfast and he told me he had. He asked me to take him till the gate of the post office. I took him there and asked him whether its fine. he told ok, but still he had to take more steps to reach the door of the office and there were steps also. So i took him till the door and told bye to him. I felt very good when i did a help to that guy before i started my work. I felt very good when my day started by doing some help to that guy. But i felt little bad when i couldn’t help in the purpose for which he came to post office. Hope he could complete his purpose at the post office without any hassles.
